It took ten trucks to complete the slab, each carrying ten cubic yards.  The trucks came at about
15 minute intervals and we usually had three of them there at one time ... an empty washing out
(right), another pumping (left), and a full one (center) waiting in the queue.  The last truck had
about four yards excess (which we used on a future patio footing), giving us a net 96 yards that
went into the slab.  That's roughly the equivalent of a cube of concrete 14 feet on each side,
weighing 150 tons.
Finishing work went on for a few hours, of course.  It was kind of precarious work for some of
the crew since they didn't have much room to maneuver.
Here the last part of the slab is going in.
